Terms of Service
Version: 2026-10-28 · Effective: October 28, 2026
1. These Terms and eligibility
These Terms govern use of CockpitSquare, operated by Roy Kronenfeld trading as rkApps (“CockpitSquare”, “we”, “us”). Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data processing; acknowledging it does not provide blanket consent to every use of data.
Account registration requires affirmative acceptance of these Terms, which incorporate the Community Guidelines. We record the applicable Terms version and acceptance evidence. These Terms incorporate Community Guidelines version community-2026-10-12-r2. If a material change requires renewed acceptance, we will present the change before requiring agreement for affected account activities. Access to privacy requests, applicable appeals and account-safety assistance remains available through the relevant routes.
Accounts are available to people aged 16 or older. If you are under 18, involve your parent or guardian and obtain any permission required by the law that applies to you. Marketplace participation, including publishing listings or wanted requests and contacting buyers or sellers to arrange a transaction, is limited to people aged 18 or older. Do not misrepresent your age. We may restrict access and investigate reports of underage use.
Account creation may be limited while CockpitSquare is in testing. When the limit is reached, new registration may be temporarily unavailable; existing accounts remain usable. A valid company representative invitation may allow its recipient to register while the limit is reached, subject to the invitation's expiry and conditions.
If you act for a company, you must have authority for the actions you take. A representative may not bind CockpitSquare or imply approval beyond the actual relationship.
2. Accounts and security
Provide accurate registration information, keep your email current and protect your credentials and authentication methods. Do not share access in a way that bypasses permissions, impersonate another person or use someone else's account. Tell us promptly if you suspect compromise.
You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. This does not make you responsible for every unauthorized act regardless of its cause or remove our own legal responsibilities. We may require proportionate checks to protect an account or verify a sensitive request.
3. Catalogue, comparisons and merchant links
The catalogue helps you research hardware. Information can be incomplete or outdated; verify price, stock, taxes, shipping, compatibility, warranty, returns and safety requirements directly with the seller. Similarity results, comparisons, popularity indicators and user experiences are information, not guarantees.
Purchases reached through product links are governed by the seller's agreement with you. CockpitSquare is not a party to that sale merely because it provided the link. Qualifying purchases may generate affiliate commission for CockpitSquare. Any additional promotion or sponsorship will be identified as appropriate to its context.
Labelled AI product illustrations can differ from actual products. Do not rely on them for installation, safety, measurements or included accessories. Report discrepancies through Contact.
4. Your content and the permission you give us
Private messages and Owner Feedback
Private messages are one-to-one text conversations. A recipient must accept a request before further messages can be sent. You can block a member, report specific messages or disable incoming requests. Company representatives can initiate requests to consenting members but cannot receive unsolicited requests. Do not send spam, scams, harassment or unnecessary sensitive information. Conversations are not automatically screened for content and are not end-to-end encrypted. Removing a conversation from your inbox only hides your copy; it does not erase the other participant's copy or all service records. Each introduction and message expires two calendar years after it was sent; replies do not extend older messages. Restricted report evidence may be kept separately for a documented investigation period.
Owner Feedback summarizes five yes/no answers from eligible owners who tag the product in a published setup. Company representatives cannot contribute. Scores appear after five owners respond, with an early-feedback label until twenty responses. Scores describe the respondents' experience and do not certify compatibility, safety, quality or future reliability.
You retain ownership of your posts, photographs, setup information, comments, listings, files and other submissions (“Your Content”). Submit material you own or are authorized to use, or whose use is otherwise lawful. Do not expose other people's private information or present false factual claims as established facts.
You give CockpitSquare a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to host, reproduce, store, display, communicate and make Your Content available for download through the relevant features in which you submit it. This includes in-platform discovery, moderation, accessibility and technical adaptations needed to deliver those features. We may allow service providers to perform these tasks for CockpitSquare under appropriate arrangements.
This permission is limited to operating CockpitSquare. It does not authorize us to use Your Content in external advertising, social-media campaigns or other external promotions without separate permission. It is not an unrestricted licence to sell Your Content or use it for unrelated model training.
The permission ends when the relevant content is removed, except for limited processing necessary to complete deletion, expire protected backups, maintain lawful case evidence or meet applicable legal duties. These exceptions do not permit ongoing public promotion of removed content. Other people may have made copies outside our control; we do not promise to erase the entire internet.
Public visibility lets others view and use the features CockpitSquare provides. It does not itself grant an unrestricted right to republish another user's work elsewhere.
5. Downloads, modifications and external resources
Downloadable resources may be supplied by other users and may have their own licence terms. Respect those terms and check whether a file suits your software, hardware and intended use. Back up configurations before applying changes and follow manufacturer safety instructions.
File validation and malware checks reduce risk but do not establish compatibility or guarantee that a file is harmless. A published file or moderation status is not an endorsement. External websites and embedded services apply their own terms; optional external media is subject to the choices described in our Cookie Policy.
6. Private secondhand marketplace
The marketplace is for private, noncommercial secondhand listings. Sellers must have an active account and verified email and must be entitled to sell the listed item. Describe condition, faults, included items and material limitations honestly. Do not list stolen, counterfeit, recalled, unsafe or unlawful items, disguise commercial trading as private selling, or fabricate transactions or ratings.
Buyers and sellers arrange their own payment, delivery, inspection, returns and disputes. CockpitSquare does not provide escrow, payment protection, shipping or transaction guarantees. Account verification, ratings and moderation do not prove identity, ownership or reliability.
When a buyer uses Contact seller, the seller receives the buyer's message and email address so replies can continue outside CockpitSquare. Share only information needed for the transaction. Location shown for matching is approximate and does not establish an exact item location.
Keep listings accurate and remove or update items that are no longer available. Use reports to alert us to suspected scams or rule violations; a report is not a promise that CockpitSquare will recover funds or decide a contractual dispute.
7. Companies, announcements and external giveaways
Approved representatives may use their company's permitted workspace features. Keep your authority current and inform us when it ends. Access can be revoked when authority or eligibility ends. Representatives cannot control independent community content or moderation merely because they represent a listed company.
Commercial cooperation may enable announcements and giveaway listings. It does not replace required permission to use photographs, descriptions, logos or AI-derived versions. Company-media permissions are handled separately and according to their scope.
Giveaways listed on CockpitSquare are operated by the named external organizer. Check the organizer's eligibility, deadlines, entry process, privacy terms and official rules before entering. CockpitSquare lets account holders mark that they have completed the organizer’s steps and displays an aggregate count of those marks. This is self-reported progress, not an official entry, verification of qualification or a promise of a prize. CockpitSquare does not select winners or supply prizes. Organizers are responsible for their promotions, required disclosures and fulfillment. Reporting a listing to us does not make us its organizer.
8. Prohibited conduct and moderation
Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not harass, threaten, exploit children, publish unlawful sexual material, reveal private information without justification, distribute malware, scam others, manipulate engagement or evade valid restrictions. Do not bypass authentication, private storage or other access controls, or interfere with service operation.
We use automated tools and human review to identify possible violations and handle reports. Screening can occur at different stages and can be mistaken. We do not guarantee that all content is reviewed or that every violation is detected.
Depending on the facts, we may request changes, warn, limit visibility or features, remove content, suspend access or terminate an account. Actions should reflect the issue, severity and relevant history. Urgent safety or legal concerns can require action before notice. Where appropriate and permitted, we explain the reason and available review route without exposing other people's private information or undermining an investigation.
You can request human review through the appeal option associated with an eligible decision and see its status in your account. If restricted access prevents you from using that route, contact us for the limited appeal or recovery route. Explain why the decision should change. Reversal of one decision does not lift an unrelated restriction. Do not abuse reporting or appeals to retaliate or overwhelm others.
9. Copyright and other rights complaints
Send rights complaints through Contact or [email protected]. Identify the material and its location, explain the concern and provide sufficient information for us to assess and respond. The same contact route is available for trademark, privacy and other rights concerns.
For a U.S. DMCA copyright notice concerning hosted user material, provide: a physical or electronic signature; identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location of the challenged material; contact details sufficient to reach you; a good-faith statement that the challenged use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law; and a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner. We may request missing information. A facially compliant notice does not itself establish a court finding of infringement.
When we act under the applicable notice-and-takedown procedure, we disable or remove access expeditiously and take reasonable steps promptly to notify the affected uploader. The uploader may submit a counter-notice if removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
A counter-notice must include a signature; identification and former location of the material; a statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief that removal or disabling resulted from mistake or misidentification; and the uploader's name, address and telephone number. It must also consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the district where the uploader's address is located or, if outside the United States, a district where the service provider may be found, and accept service of process from the original notifier or their agent.
We will forward a compliant counter-notice, including its required contact details, to the original notifier. Under that statutory process, we restore access no earlier than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receiving it, unless our designated agent first receives notice of the specified filed court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement. An independent restriction on different grounds may remain and will be handled separately.
Knowingly making material misrepresentations in copyright notices or counter-notices can have legal consequences. We maintain a policy for terminating repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances, assessed from relevant facts rather than treating every allegation as proven. Corrections, withdrawals and reversals are considered.
Send copyright notices and counter-notices to the designated agent below. Contact remains available for other rights complaints.

Catalogue materials selected or created by CockpitSquare are assessed separately; this procedure is not a blanket licence for their use.
10. Ending use, service changes and deletion
You may stop using CockpitSquare and request account deletion through account settings or Contact. Deletion removes account-related content as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to limited justified retention and cleanup. It does not cancel obligations arising from your transactions with others.
We may change, suspend or discontinue features for operational, security or legal reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of material changes affecting ongoing use and follow any applicable legal duties. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or permanent storage of every submission.
11. Responsibility and limits
We provide an information and community service with reasonable care as required by applicable law. To the extent the law permits, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of third-party content, or the safety, suitability or performance of products, files and transactions controlled by others.
To the extent legally permitted, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, excuse fraud or deliberate misconduct, or remove mandatory consumer rights. No wording in these Terms makes a third party's responsibility a substitute for our own non-excludable duties.
No provision requires you to indemnify us for our own wrongdoing or removes a remedy that applicable law makes non-excludable.
12. Disputes and other terms
Please contact [email protected] with a concern so we can try to address it. This does not require you to surrender a statutory complaint, urgent remedy or court right.
These Terms are governed by Israeli law, with disputes subject to the competent courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, except where mandatory law gives you rights to another applicable law, forum or remedy. Those rights remain available.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remainder continues to apply to the extent lawful. Our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive it generally. A material revision will identify its effective date and follow the acceptance process described above. Contact and operator details appear in the Legal Notice.
